Hello and welcome to the second day of Blissemas 2014!
‘Tis the time to snuggle up on the sofa, in front of a roaring fire, with a good book, eating mince pies and drinking mulled wine. When it comes to Mince Pies Charlotte Howard has a secret to share with you.
British author, Charlotte Howard, was born in Oman and spent much of the first part of her life flitting between Oman, Scotland, and England. Now settled in Somerset, Charlotte lives with her husband, two children, and growing menagerie of pets.
Her career as a writer began at an early age, with a poem being featured in an anthology for the East Midlands. Since then Charlotte has written many short stories and poems, and finally wrote her first full-length piece of fiction in 2010.
During what little spare time she has, Charlotte enjoys reading and writing (of course), spending time with her family, and watching action movies whilst eating curry and drinking tea.
Charlotte is an active member of Yeovil Creative Writers Group.
One Night in Edinburgh
Chloe Shade has travelled to Edinburgh to meet up with a potential client, and has just twenty-four hours to convince them to sign her contract.
But when she meets the delicious Ethan, he proves to be so much more than an enticing distraction. It’s not long before Chloe has some life changing decisions to make, and less than a day to make them.
A heavy ache weighed in his chest. In the morning she would be gone, and it would be painful to say goodbye to her. Once the contract was signed, she would leave for London and all future contact would be via emails and phone calls. She would be given her promotion to partner, he was sure of it, which meant that it would probably be another sales rep visiting when new stock came in.
He lifted his hands to her face, cupping her chin, and kissed her. She was soft and supple beneath him. The tip of his tongue parted her lips. He closed his eyes and breathed her in, taking in the scent of her shower gel and perfume, mixing with dinner and wine. If he’d died then, he would have died happy.
Ethan let his hands slide to her waist, fingertips resting on the curve that swooped over her gorgeous ass. His cock began to wake. They were pressed so tightly together that he was sure she could feel the small pulsing movements as another erection threatened. He’d never gotten hard simply from a kiss before.
She lifted her arms and looped them around his neck, wordlessly telling him that she wanted him as much he wanted her. She was opening up to him. Her full breasts squashed against him, so that he could feel heat radiating from her, feel her nipples hardening into stiff peaks. His pulse raced as she moved her fingers into his hair, giving a gentle tug on the roots.
“I need you,” he said against her mouth. “Right now, I need you.”
Chloe moved away, smiling. Her lips were red and swollen. He couldn’t help but wonder, not for the first time, how they would feel wrapped around his shaft.
“We’re in public,” she said.
“I don’t care.” He took her hand and searched around for somewhere more private. An alleyway wasn’t quite what he’d had in mind when it came to imagining their second encounter, but it wasn’t the brain in his head that he was thinking with at that moment.
