Seasonal Shenanigans: A Christmas Anthology” is releasing tomorrow! This super sexy set features 14 short stories, ranging in topic and style. Whether you want something sweet or something scandalous, there is something for everyone!

This is my second time being involved in one of Caitlyn Lynch’s seasonal anthologies (I have a story in the Halloween anthology, “Tempting Treats“), and I am so excited to be a part of it again! I loved reading all of the stories, and, as always, was so impressed by the variety and talent and gosh-darn freaking hotness that these writers bring to the page.

My short story is “Let it Snow“, and I tried something a little different with this story. Typically my stories are in the land of fetishes. Nice fetish, sweet fetish, and sure as hell consensual fetish, but definitely fetish. But this time I decided to go more sweet. Something about all the candlelight and mistletoe and carols, maybe, had me in a candy-cane sweet mood. This is my first short story without some fetish element in there, and I had a lot of fun with it. Christmas is my favourite time of year, after all! And with a sexy ski instructor, like in my story, hell, I think even I could spend a Christmas on the slopes!

I’m providing a short excerpt here. If you want to read more, I really encourage you to check out Seasonal Shenanigans: A Christmas Anthology, available tomorrow! And that price can’t be beat!

“Let it Snow”: Jovie has always avoided the Christmas season. But when she has to spend the holidays in a ski lodge, she meets someone who may inspire her to embrace the season. Or at least the part about meeting under the mistletoe.

Jovie generally isn’t a fan of lodges or skiing or even Christmas, but when she meets a super sexy ski instructor, she agrees to spend the day on the slopes with him. That night they warm themselves by the fire, drinking hot chocolate.

“What was your favourite part of today? It wasn’t all bad, was it?”

“Not all bad at all.” She raised her mug. “This is one of my favourites. It was all pretty good though, especially…” She bit her lip and diverted her attention back to the flames.

“Especially what?”

“Not so fast. Come on, spill. Especially what?”

“Especially that it was all good. All pretty especially good.”

“Nice try.” He grinned again, lifting the bottle of liqueur. “If you want any more of this, you’re going to have to answer. And honestly. I can tell if you’re lying.”

“Sure you can.” Jovie looked into her cup. The peppermint was good, but she didn’t need bribery to tell. What the hell. “It was all pretty good. Especially anytime I was near you.”

Jovie stole a glance at the man next to her. His eyebrows were slightly raised. Whatever he’d expected her answer to be, she didn’t think he’d expected that.

She waited for his reaction. Had she said too much? Had she made a complete ass of herself? She wanted to say more, but she didn’t know what, and she’d used up the last of her courage moments ago.

He said nothing, but her cup was suddenly topped up and the smell of peppermint hit her full on.

She looked at him more evenly, not hiding her glance this time.

He shrugged. “Fair’s fair.”

She raised her mug to toast him, and he clinked his against hers. “Cheers, then,” she said. “What are we drinking to?”

He bit his lip, shrugged again, and tapped against the side of his cup. “I was thinking maybe we would toast to you agreeing to let me kiss you.”

She blinked, then burst out laughing.

He waited.

“I’m sorry,” she snickered.

“No worries. Can’t say it’s the first time I’ve been laughed at when hoping to kiss someone.”

“No, not that.” Jovie pushed her words around and through her giggles. “That was just really smooth.”

“Clearly.” His voice slid across to her as easily as a ski down a slope.

“I was hoping you’d want to kiss me, but I never thought of making a move like that.”

“You want me to kiss you?”

Jovie was still giggling, but she nodded.

Suddenly his lips were on hers, and her laughter was stoppered by something far more intense, something far less innocent.

He tasted like cold sunshine, like an intense melting of ice. His lips pressed against hers, kissing her bottom lip, the corner of her mouth, the bottom again.

She pulled back, staring at him. She became incredibly aware of the sound of the popping and cracking of the wood in the fireplace, the sparkling light from the chandelier at the entrance to the lobby, the chatter and clatter of glasses and cups, of the heat from her mug, still cupped in her hands.

His eyes moved across her face as though searching for something, some answer to his kiss.

Jovie ran her tongue over her lips, flushed and tingling from their so recent use after spending the day on the frigid slopes. She tasted peppermint and chocolate and Chris.
